Grammy Whitney Houston Dead at 48: We Will Always Love You

Saturday, February 11, 2012
Grammy Award Singer and Actress, Whitney Houston has died at 48.

Her publicist Kristen Foster announced that the singer had died, but the cause and the location of her death are still unknown.

Houston’s website and Twitter was down at the time of this posting.

She was recently approached to be a judge on the next season of the “X Factor” with Simon Cowell. This would have been an interesting opportunity for the multi-platinum recording artist to return to the music industry reinvented in a way that has helped Jennifer Lopez.

She will be remembered for her peak success in the 80’s and 90’s as a moving singer and actress (“The Bodyguard” and “Waiting to Exhale”).

Celebs Comment on the loss of the Music Icon on Twitter:

Spike Lee: God Bless The Dead. Whitney Houston R.I.P. She Was Only 48 Years Young.

TalibKweli: RIP Whitney Houston. I remember the first time I heard your voice on the radio like yesterday. You will truly be missed …...

ArtsyFartsyShow: Whitney We “Will Always Love You.”
